Fees
My fees are $175 for a 50 minute session.
Payment can be made in cash, credit/debit card, HSA/FSA card, or check at the end of each session.
Longer sessions are available upon request and availability at a prorated fee.
Insurance
Altough I don’t bill insurance directly I have partner with Spring Health and Modern Health.
Check your employer benefits, you may be eligible for therapy sessions through your EAP.
Cancelation Policy
Since scheduling an appointment implies reserving a specific time for you, I request that if you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you notify me at leats 24 hours in advance.
If you cancel less that 24 hours in advance, half the value of the session will be charged, and if you do not show up for your appointment, the full rate will be charged.
* You can ask your insurance company the following questions to undestand the services covered by your plan:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What portion of my fee is reimbursed for out-of-network providers?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Does my job offer a flex spending program that will cover my therapy?
You are entitled to a good faith estimate in compliance with the 2021 No Surprises Act. Learn more here
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
Under the 2021 No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services, including psychotherapy.
